Are you an experienced 2^nd Class Operating Engineer looking for the next step in your career with a well-established international liquid processing facility? Our client located in East Toronto, is actively seeking a motivated and skilled 2^nd Class Operating Engineer to join their team.

Position: 2^nd Class Operating Engineer:

Hold a valid 2^nd Class Certificate.
Proven 5 plus years of hands-on experience in monitoring and maintaining; Boilers, Co-Generators, Chillers, Separation Equipment, Piping etc..
Previous experience in heavy industries such as chemical processing, mining, or oil/gas is advantageous.

This position will involve ensuring that preventative maintenance tasks are carried out, that issues are handled in a timely manner and that maintenance related projects are managed correctly.

This position, while a hands-on role, would suit someone who has previous experience supervising 3-5 trades people, with food industry experience being an asset. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and a great team player. This position is on the afternoon shift and pays $38-$42 per hour depending on previous experience.
